About Gartner:

The senior copywriter role is integral to Gartner’s in-house creative agency, the Creative Center of Excellence (CCOE). Reporting to the Manager, Copywriting, this position involves crafting compelling copy for a wide array of projects across various channels, including video scripts, marketing campaigns, social content, infographics, interactive digital experiences, eBooks, presentation decks, and website copy. The senior copywriter is tasked with mastering the art of writing and storytelling, meeting client objectives, adhering to deadlines, and ensuring the editorial team produces concise, precise, and inspiring work.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an expert in brand messaging, storytelling, and copywriting across all channels, with a focus on video.
  • Write and develop content for diverse projects, including video scripts, advertising copy, editorial content, email campaigns, social media, and presentations.
  • Collaborate strategically with key stakeholders within CCOE and across the organization.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of Gartner’s brand, business units, market segments, and personas to all messaging.
  • Partner closely with CCOE designers and video teams to integrate copy effectively with visual elements.
  • Innovate and contribute out-of-the-box thinking to projects, serving as a thought leader and brand storyteller.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marketing trends and strategies.
  • Deliver exceptional work consistently and meet deadlines reliably.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in marketing, copywriting, video design, or advertising.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of marketing content strategies.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling copy that enhances brand identity and resonates with target audiences.
  • Expertise in advertising, marketing, and writing scripts for video.
  • Clear grasp of tone and the ability to adapt writing style based on audience and message.
  • Familiarity with brand voice and adherence to brand editorial guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with creative functions.
  • Experience working on set is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an agency or in-house creative role within the tech, information services, or professional services industry.
