Public Area Attendant

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform and name tag.
• Arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your shift.
• Perform all heavy cleaning duties in areas such as the lobby, restrooms, banquet/meeting spaces, fitness center/pool, parking areas, elevators, and more.
• Clean the staff room, offices, and assist with basic maintenance repairs (e.g., plumbing, TV troubleshooting).
• Manage time effectively and work well under pressure, prioritizing guest assistance when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service, respond promptly to guest requests, and offer additional help when possible.
• Work independently and as part of a team, handling varied housekeeping tasks including guest room and stayover cleans.
• Complete all required brand training and be knowledgeable about hotel facilities to guide guests.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and washing windows, walls, and woodwork.
• Report maintenance issues and assist other departments as needed, including cross-training opportunities at sister properties.
• Be available for varied shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays.
