Job Purpose

As the Marketing Coordinator, your main role is to create and manage marketing strategies and campaigns that promote products, services, or brands. You’ll develop innovative ways to reach specific audiences, analyze market trends, oversee advertising efforts, and collaborate with different teams to meet business goals.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement marketing strategies using traditional media (like TV and print) and digital platforms.
  2. Coordinate promotional events, exhibitions, and communication campaigns to increase brand visibility.
  3. Monitor all marketing activities to ensure they meet set objectives.
  4. Conduct market research to understand trends, competition, and consumer behavior.
  5. Focus on digital marketing strategies using social media, email, SEO, and content marketing.
  6. Create marketing plans and budgets.
  7. Manage digital advertising campaigns to engage target audiences online.
  8. Use data analytics to track online performance and adjust strategies based on insights.
  9. Manage expenses related to marketing functions.
  10. Monitor and update company social media content.
  11. Oversee promotions of products and services.
  12. Work with procurement to order promotional materials and ensure branding on vehicles and service areas reflects the company’s brand.
  13. Conduct market analysis to assess trends, brand recognition, and competitors.
  14. Initiate surveys to understand customer needs and loyalty.
  15. Write compelling marketing materials such as brochures, press releases, and website content.
  16. Build relationships with media vendors and publishers for collaborative promotions.
  17. Track campaign progress using various metrics and provide performance reports.
  18. Collaborate with managers to set budgets and monitor expenses.

Primary Areas of Accountability:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and corporate communication.
  • Experience working in an advertising agency for 2-3 years is preferred.
  • Proven track record in marketing or similar roles.
  • Understanding of market research techniques, data analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and content marketing.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning and marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and marketing software (e.g., CRM).
  • Demonstrated creativity and business acumen.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies.
