Working Hours:
Summer: 10 hours per day
Winter: 9 hours per day
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to health and safety protocols
Ensure knowledge of UK regulations for Transmission Line Engineers
Perform tasks with safety and discipline
Rigging operations
Blocking and clipping-in activities on towers
Spacering tasks with safe use of spacer trolley
Apply earthing schemes to overhead lines
Safely operate platforms, ladders, and pladders
Carry out jointing and jumper activities
Replace steel on towers when needed
Interpret technical diagrams and drawings
Work effectively in a team
Show a proactive and hardworking attitude
Candidate Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in high-voltage transmission line projects, including:Working at heights
Maintenance of high-voltage lines
High-voltage OHL tension/stringing operations
Tower assembly/erection (using cranes or derricks)
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:Relevant formal qualifications
Experience with pullers, tensioners, erection tools, or tractor winches
A valid UK driving license (support for conversion available)
For International Applicants:
Must meet the Skilled Worker Visa requirements:Proof of English language proficiency (e.g., UKVI IELTS)
Clear tuberculosis test (if applicable)
Clean immigration history
