Technical Business Analyst

Job Title: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Dallas, Texas (Hybrid Remote Work)
Visa: U.S. Green Card, U.S. Citizen, or H1B Visa
Salary: $50 – $60 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts)

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate Between Teams: You will act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams, making sure everyone understands the goals of the project.

• Gather Requirements: You will help organize meetings to gather information on what the business needs and document everything discussed. You will also keep track of tasks and follow up on what needs to be done.

• Write Documents: You will create clear documents that explain what the business wants and how it should be implemented. These documents include:

  • Business Requirements Documents (BRDs): A document that explains the needs of the business.

  • Technical Design Documents: A document that describes how the technical team should build the solution.

  • Data Lineage Documentation: A document showing how data flows through the system.

• Monitor Project Progress: You will check that the project is moving forward as planned and see if there are any problems or delays.

• Coordinate Release Plans: You will help organize release plans for new features or updates, making sure everyone is informed in time.

• Support JIRA Ticket Management: You will use JIRA, a tool to manage tasks and issues, to create, update, and track problems during the project.

Qualifications:

• Experience: You need at least 4 years of experience working as a Technical Business Analyst and experience with Agile project management for at least 4 years.

• SQL Skills: You must have experience with SQL (Oracle and SQL Server). If you know MongoDB, it’s a plus.

• Data Analysis: You should have at least 4 years of experience with analyzing and solving data-related problems.

• Document Writing: You should be skilled at writing detailed documents like Business Requirements, Technical Design, and Data Lineage documentation.

• Communication Skills: You must be good at explaining technical things in a way that business people can understand, and you should be comfortable leading meetings and working with people.

• Organization: You need to be able to manage many tasks at once and stay on top of deadlines.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with Agile: You should have at least 6 years of experience working in Agile environments.
