Position: Peripatetic Clinical Development Nurse

Location: Various Care Homes (travel required)

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone with experience in a care home setting. You must be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) and willing to travel regularly.

As a Peripatetic Clinical Development Nurse, you will lead and support the clinical governance and quality of care for residents in several of our care homes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring each home meets high clinical standards.
• Reviewing monthly clinical governance data and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each home.
• Analyzing results to identify strategies for compliance and improvement.
• Collaborating with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to enhance care standards.
• Organizing training and supporting recruitment of key clinical staff.
• Conducting clinical investigations as needed.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Experience working in a care home environment.
• Confidence in mentoring other nurses, including newly-qualified staff.
• Excellent leadership and analytical skills.
