Job Overview

As a Compliance Manager, you will ensure our company follows all relevant laws and regulations. Your expertise will help maintain a culture of compliance, minimizing risks and protecting sensitive data. You will collaborate with different departments to implement security policies, conduct risk assessments, and train employees on best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer and Sales Compliance Support:
   • Be the main contact for compliance questions from sales prospects and customers.
   • Complete compliance questionnaires and maintain a library of answers.
2. Compliance Program Management:
   • Develop compliance policies, processes, and training programs.
   • Conduct internal audits and suggest improvements.
   • Ensure compliance with standards like GDPR and ISO27001.
   • Monitor regulatory changes and advise leadership.
3. Reporting and Communication:
   • Update internal teams about compliance obligations.
   • Prepare reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
   • Maintain documentation of compliance activities.
4. Vendor and Partner Compliance:
   • Evaluate and monitor compliance of third-party vendors.
   • Conduct due diligence on vendor agreements.

Requirements:

• Experience in compliance or a related role in financial technology.
• Knowledge of investment management or SaaS is a plus.
• Understanding of data privacy laws, including GDPR.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) are advantageous.

Expected Hours: 15 – 22.5 hours per week
Pay: Up to £65,000 per year (pro-rated)
