Summary

An exciting opportunity is available for a Trainee Service Advisor/Administrator to join a well-established company in Canterbury.

About The Role:

As the first point of contact for aftersales customers, you’ll create positive first impressions with a helpful and welcoming manner. Handling a variety of tasks throughout the day, you’ll need to stay calm under pressure, follow procedures accurately, and work effectively in a small, efficient team.

Service Advisor Duties Include:

  • Interacting directly with customers in the Retailer environment.
  • Managing phone calls, including scheduling vehicle services and repairs.
  • Estimating time and costs for vehicle services and repairs.
  • Communicating initial client concerns to vehicle technicians.
  • Updating clients on additional work needed.
  • Tracking vehicles through the workshop during service and repair.
  • Providing advice to clients on vehicle issues.

You’ll build strong relationships with existing customers and create exceptional experiences for new customers.

Skills Required:

No previous experience necessary; full training provided. Essential skills include listening carefully to instructions, eagerness to learn, asking questions, self-motivation, and attention to detail. Strong communication skills are crucial for exceeding sales and customer care targets. Computer literacy, including learning new software, numeracy, literacy, and a clean driver’s license are required.
