Role Overview:

The Territory Manager plays a critical role in driving commercial success through our distribution partners. They provide clinical support and training on Aerogen products to end-users, leveraging deep knowledge of our products and processes. The Territory Manager fosters relationships with existing customers, identifies new opportunities, and supports distributors in achieving sales targets. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, particularly Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs, is essential to overcome clinical and commercial challenges and promote Aerogen products effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a territory plan to drive Aerogen revenues, engaging with customers at all levels and managing territory effectively.
  • Implement key account strategies to maximize potential and ensure execution against targets.
  • Utilize CRM tools to report weekly activities and leverage omnichannel customer tools and global marketing campaigns.
  • Provide sales support, including training for distributors and OEM partners.
  • Collaborate closely with distributors to align on strategic growth directions.
  • Engage systematically with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and collaborate with Medical Affairs in key accounts.
  • Provide Market Access feedback to Marketing for new product launches.
  • Support peer-to-peer events and promotional activities within the territory.
  • Mentor new colleagues and support their training and onboarding.
  • Address country-level market queries and customer challenges, collaborating with other functions for solutions.
  • Advocate for Sales Excellence behaviors within the team.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met by distributors and manage forecasting in collaboration with them.
  • Build strategic relationships with distribution partner management.
  • Contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews with distribution partners.

Education and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience in commercial roles within the medical device industry, with respiratory knowledge advantageous.
  • Strong clinical acumen and understanding of financial drivers.
  • Proven ability in territory management and driving multiple sales opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and CRM tools.
  • Ability to travel extensively domestically (approximately 80% of the time) and internationally as needed.
