Summary:
TESTQ Technologies is seeking a Technical Architect – Data Science to join their team. This role is fully remote and involves designing and implementing data solutions to help businesses make informed decisions and drive innovation. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements, and lead a team of data scientists and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data lakes/warehouses to ensure data is organized, accessible, and secure.
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures for advanced data science and analytics.
- Ensure documentation of data architectures and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and software developers, to integrate data solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning technologies.
- Lead data integration efforts, incorporating data from various sources into the data ecosystem.
- Monitor and optimize data systems for high performance and availability.
- Provide reports and recommendations on vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.
Key Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in data science and data architecture.
- Experience with data integration, warehousing, and big data technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or Scala.
- Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with big data technologies like Apache, Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related data services.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Skills in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
