Your Career

As a Systems Engineer, you provide technical expertise and guidance to help customers on their zero-trust journey. You play a key role in creating technical solutions that protect a customer’s critical business needs. You promote our leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security services, making Palo Alto Networks the top choice for cybersecurity.

• Meeting and exceeding sales targets by creating and implementing strategic technical plans that target cross-platform solutions
• Understanding and explaining the key technical, operational, and commercial needs of your prospects and customers
• Planning and building compelling technical and business-focused solutions that drive adoption and growth after the initial sale
• Demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to influence through effective presentations, demos, technical engagements, and workshops
• Coordinating resources to ensure a one-team approach with a cohesive strategy
• Promoting end-to-end solutions, including PANW and/or partner professional services, to help customers realize business value sooner
• Understanding the competitive landscape and effectively showcasing our leadership
• Continuously investing in yourself to develop technical and professional skills, contributing to customer success and participating in the SE community and industry events

Qualifications

Your Experience

• Knowledge of IP data networking and cybersecurity technologies such as network security solutions, NGFW, ATP, cloud security, API security, XDR, ASM, SIEM, and SOAR
• Delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives
• Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, ideally in a pre-sales engineer role
• Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation via POC/POV engagements
• Experience selling, implementing, or managing SaaS security/SASE/advanced cloud security, CNAP/Managed & On-prem security offerings is a plus
• Partnering with customer support functions to ensure successful product implementation and adoption through UAT (User Acceptance Test) support
