About the Role
Clari seeks a skilled Staff Security Engineer to join our team remotely from any location in the United States. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security of Clari’s AI-driven revenue orchestration platform while maintaining optimal performance and stability. Your responsibilities will span from automating routine tasks to architecting robust security solutions that scale with our platform’s growth. You will actively contribute to our engineering culture, strengthening Clari’s security posture through proactive development and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Engineering Advocacy: Champion engineering best practices within the security team.
- Security Integration: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed security into workflows via design reviews and active development.
- SDLC Enhancement: Work with engineering teams to continuously improve security across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Security Architecture: Design and implement security solutions, libraries, and frameworks for widespread adoption.
- Coding and Review: Write code and conduct reviews in languages like Go, Python, or Java.
- Monitoring and Automation: Enhance monitoring tools and develop automation for security testing and operational issue resolution.
- Incident Response: Participate in security monitoring, incident response, and investigations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Over 5 years in Security Engineering, DevOps, or Product Development.
- Passion: Dedication to integrating security and privacy by design principles seamlessly.
- Automation Skills: Strong commitment to process efficiency through automation.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Go, Python), with solid networking and Linux command line experience.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud-native authentication, vault mechanisms, and AWS security best practices (IAM, VPC, CloudTrail).
- Communication: Ability to articulate complex security concepts clearly and effectively.
- Engineering Acumen: Equally adept in software development and security engineering/operations.

Disclaimer: Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $225,000, inclusive of stock options and benefits.
