Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments of clients’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
Develop personalized therapy plans based on individual needs and goals.
Utilize evidence-based interventions to improve clients’ communication skills.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals for holistic care.
Educate clients and families on communication strategies and best practices.
Maintain accurate client records, adhering to industry standards.
Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech pathology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
3-5 years of clinical experience in speech pathology.
Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (assistance will be provided for registration).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Client-centered, compassionate care approach.
Proficiency in assessment and therapy tools, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
