Overview: Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking dedicated and talented Primary Teachers to join our team at the start of the 2024/25 academic year.   • Effectively use Teaching Support Assistants to support children in class.

  • Provide students with regular feedback and encourage them to reflect and respond.
  • Participate fully in co-curricular and activity programmes.

  • Provide a safe, purposeful, and well-managed learning environment.
  • Value the home-school-community partnership, working closely with staff to establish and manage good relationships with parents and stakeholders.

  • Attend assemblies, departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, school functions, and staff meetings.

  • Take personal responsibility for evaluating and reflecting on your teaching to continually develop and improve your practice.

  • Comply with all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring any safeguarding concerns are reported per the School policy.

Person Specification:

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Essential:

  • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
  • A UK Postgraduate Certificate of Education or Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Relevant teaching experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
  • A proven track record of effective teaching.
  • A strong academic background, stature, and experience that commands respect from pupils, parents, colleagues, and the wider community.
  • A commitment to academic progress and the welfare and safeguarding of students.
  • Knowledge and understanding of recent educational developments and best practices.

Desirable:

  • An understanding of the demands of a UK independent school environment.
  • Experience working with children who have English as an Additional Language.
  • Secure knowledge of using technology to support Education.
