Person Specification:
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Essential:
- A relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
- A UK Postgraduate Certificate of Education or Qualified Teacher Status.
- Relevant teaching experience.
- Excellent working knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
- A proven track record of effective teaching.
- A strong academic background, stature, and experience that commands respect from pupils, parents, colleagues, and the wider community.
- A commitment to academic progress and the welfare and safeguarding of students.
- Knowledge and understanding of recent educational developments and best practices.
Desirable:
- An understanding of the demands of a UK independent school environment.
- Experience working with children who have English as an Additional Language.
- Secure knowledge of using technology to support Education.
