Job Summary:

Are you an experienced Electrical Technician looking to work in Portsmouth and across the Southern region? At Veolia, we aim to create a more sustainable future, and we’re looking for a Mobile Electrical Technician to join our team.

Your Role:

  • Follow schedules and site procedures for electrical work.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as directed.
  • Complete site documentation before and after tasks.
  • Work with subcontractors during maintenance.
  • Conduct risk assessments and periodic reviews.
  • Adhere to environmental health and safety (EHS) guidelines.
  • Participate in audits and ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained.
  • Update maintenance data and maximize tool usage through effective planning.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years electrical experience with a full understanding of electrical regulations.
  • City & Guilds 2391 qualification.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems. Mechanical experience is a plus.
  • Experience with various systems like pumps, HVAC, compressors, and boilers.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance and building management systems.
  • Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and Permit to Work systems.
  • Ability to read P&ID’s and electrical drawings.
  • Basic understanding of instrumentation.
  • NICEIC registration within 6 months of probation period.
