Position Overview:
Join the Histology team at LabPlus in the Histopathology Department. You will be responsible for routine tasks in the Histology laboratory, particularly microtomy, including specimen receipt and registration, cut-up assistance, frozen sections, embedding, microtomy, and special stains.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on following instructions and procedures meticulously.
Analytical and Time Management Skills: Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Teamwork: Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a close-knit team.
Experience: Preferably have experience in histology with current registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to Training: Focused on quality and committed to continuous training in Anatomical Pathology.
