Overview: We are seeking qualified Maths teachers who can also teach ICT to join our dynamic and diverse community in Doha. You will deliver a tailored version of the National Curriculum of England, infused with a holistic and international perspective. Our aim is to provide a contemporary learning and teaching experience that is international, inclusive, and inspiring. The secondary curriculum spans Key Stage 3 (KS3), providing students with structured and assessed education in core subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery: Teach Maths and ICT across KS3, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
• Holistic Education: Infuse a holistic and international perspective into the curriculum, fostering a well-rounded educational experience.
• Student Assessment: Regularly assess students’ progress and provide feedback to support their academic development.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive learning environment that is conducive to student success and well-being.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated with educational trends.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to teaching and learning across the department.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• A relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) recognized in the UK or equivalent.
• Relevant teaching experience in Maths and ICT.

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum of England.
• Proven track record of effective teaching in Maths and ICT.
• Experience working in an international school environment is desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
