Synopsis

The Marketing Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the Regional Marketing Manager by facilitating operational tasks and contributing to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns within a designated region or market. This role ensures that all activities align with brand standards, meet quality benchmarks, and adhere to established timelines and budgets.

Accountabilities

  • Assist in Marketing Planning: Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns tailored to the assigned region or market.
  • Support Central Campaign Rollouts: Facilitate the implementation of centrally-led marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency in brand messaging, quality, adherence to cost parameters, and timely execution.
  • Joint Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute campaigns targeting consumers, tourists, or trade partners, utilizing joint marketing funds with partners or agents.
  • Sponsorships and Partnerships: Assist in activating key sponsorships and partnerships within the designated region or market to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Compliance and Governance: Adhere to all relevant policies, processes, and procedures to ensure that work is conducted efficiently and within established governance frameworks.
  • Operational Implementation: Execute day-to-day operational tasks as assigned, ensuring compliance with standard procedures and maintaining high operational standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports to management based on predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, with a specialization in Marketing being advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of work experience, with at least 2 years ideally in a marketing-focused role, demonstrating a strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
  • Skills: Possesses strong creative writing abilities for crafting compelling marketing materials and presentations.

This role is pivotal in contributing to the success of marketing efforts within the designated region or market, leveraging both strategic planning and operational execution skills to achieve campaign objectives effectively. The Marketing Officer will play a critical role in ensuring that marketing initiatives resonate with target audiences and contribute to overall business growth and brand awareness.
