Zeus Street Greek (ZSG) is looking for a passionate Kitchen Manager (Head Chef) to join their team in Concord. ZSG offers full training and support to help you achieve ‘The Zeus Way’ in all aspects of your role. If you have a love for food and high energy, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
As a Kitchen Manager (Head Chef), you will:
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and store.
Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost of goods sold (COGS), financial management, and rostering.
Supervise and coach team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Ensure the food quality and safety standards are met at all times.
Prepare and cook food, and manage food supplies orders.
Monitor the quality of dishes at every stage, from preparation to presentation.
Collaborate with Managers and Front of House staff to discuss food preparation issues.
Enforce hygiene regulations and ensure a safe kitchen environment.
Help train new staff and ensure they meet ZSG standards.
Skills & Experience:
We are looking for someone who:
Is a highly motivated natural leader with hands-on experience in the kitchen.
Has a passion for food and restaurant operations.
Has a positive, can-do attitude.
Can build and lead an efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
Has at least 2 years of experience in restaurant or kitchen management (preferred).
