As an Executive Recruiter on the Cloud Hiring team, you will be a key player in identifying and engaging exceptional talent for Google Cloud. This role involves partnering with executive-level management to define their talent needs and develop effective search strategies. Your efforts will help position Google Cloud for future success by bringing in top-tier leadership talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Executives: Collaborate with senior management on leadership requisitions, providing advice and support to meet their talent needs.
- Develop Search Strategies: Create and implement effective search strategies across various product areas and functions within Google Cloud.
- Talent Identification: Identify, evaluate, and present leadership talent to Google’s management. Build relationships with potential candidates through research, networking, and direct outreach.
- Search Management: Oversee the search process, from initial engagement to final hiring. Ensure a smooth and effective recruitment process for all stakeholders involved.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about external trends in the talent market and use this knowledge to enhance Google’s hiring practices.
- Client Management: Actively manage relationships with clients, providing regular updates and feedback throughout the hiring process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in executive-level recruiting, either in a search firm or corporate environment.
- Client Consultation: Proven experience in consulting and managing executive-level clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Action-Oriented: Ability to initiate and accomplish goals across diverse teams and projects.
- Communication Skills: Proficient in discussing and documenting recruitment processes, and delivering regular updates and feedback.
- Market Knowledge: Ability to learn new markets, run thorough recruiting processes, and engage with executive applicants in technology or cloud industries.
- Consultative Skills: Excellent consultative skills and domain expertise to build strong partnerships with internal leaders.
- People Skills: Exceptional client-service and interpersonal skills.
