Job Summary
As the Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead at a Barchester care home, your main role will be to help provide the high-quality care that Barchester is known for. Job Description
Working Hours: 40 hours per week – including 2 x 12-hour shifts, 2 x 8-hour supernumerary shifts, and alternate weekends.

As the Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead, you will support the care home in delivering excellent care. You will help the General Manager with their duties and take charge in their absence. You will ensure the highest care standards are met, motivate your team, and monitor everything through audits and clinical supervision. Your role will also involve developing strategies that lead to improved care for residents.

About You
To become a Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead, you must be a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration and hold a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. Experience in helping residents with different health needs and managing safeguarding investigations is necessary. You should also have experience with clinical risk assessments. The role requires strong skills in HR, sales, marketing, and budget management. Additionally, a background in supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship is essential. Above all, you should be compassionate, resilient, and committed to delivering the best care in a fast-paced and energetic environment.

Person Specification
Qualifications Required:
