Job Description:
The Mosame Group Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced and qualified Chef with expertise in North Indian and South Indian cuisines, and ideally some knowledge of Tandoor cooking. This role will involve managing all kitchen operations, food preparation, production, and overseeing the training and management of kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and supervising kitchen staff.
Ensure efficient, cost-effective kitchen operations and the profitability of food production.
Regularly inspect and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and proper functioning.
Ensure food quality: Approve food products, presentations, and packing before they are sent to customers.
Maintain adherence to food preparation standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines.
Oversee food storage, stocking, and food rotation to meet sanitation standards.
Train kitchen personnel in cleanliness and sanitation practices.
Monitor bulk orders for corporate clients, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar role (Must have).
Knowledge of English: Minimum IELTS band of 4.5 (Must have).
Education: A Diploma in Hotel Management (Must have).
Age: Must be below 40 years.
Skill Assessment: The candidate must pass a skill assessment before visa sponsorship.
