Pay Range

$16.00 – $20.40

Job Purpose

As a Cashier (Customer Service Associate) at Floor & Decor, you are the first and last person customers see. Your job is to provide great customer service by greeting customers, checking them out, handling returns, managing basic cash office tasks, and ensuring every customer has a great experience. We have both Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.

Key Job Functions

• Greet every customer politely and helpfully.
• Talk with customers, ask about their projects, suggest our products, and make them excited about their purchase.
• Provide excellent customer service and exceed their expectations.
• Follow the company’s safety rules.
• Work in line with the company’s core values.
• Use the cash register to process sales.
• Handle customer refunds and exchanges according to our rules.
• Open and close cash registers.
• Follow procedures for accepting cash, checks, and credit cards.
• Answer the phone according to company guidelines.
• Stock, tag, and display products as needed.
• Create price tags and signs for products.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• May need to travel to other stores to help.

Working Conditions

• Sometimes exposed to warehouse environments and moving vehicles.
• Noise level can be quiet to moderate.

Physical Requirements

• Medium Work: Lift, carry, push, or pull 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and small objects up to 10 pounds constantly.
• Often use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects.
• Sometimes stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Store Hours

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
