Job Purpose
The Beauty Sales Consultant will show customers how to use products and help them find what they need. This role involves keeping in touch with clients through calls and emails, handling customer questions and complaints, setting up attractive displays, and managing inventory.
Main Responsibilities
- Recommend Products: Suggest items that fit the customer’s needs, budget, and preferences. Explain how the products work.
- Build Relationships: Develop a trusting relationship with brides and their guests.
- Social Media: Help manage the company’s Facebook page if needed.
- Listening Skills: Understand customer needs, evaluate opportunities, and decide on the best actions.
- Personal Grooming: Keep up your own appearance and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Beauty Room Standards: Maintain the beauty room and offer treatments promptly.
- Store Operations: Complete beauty store and office tasks on time as requested by the manager.
- Follow-Up: Keep in touch with all potential clients and maintain those relationships.
- Stay Updated: Learn about new products, services, and procedures. Attend departmental meetings.
- Reporting: Provide accurate daily reports via WhatsApp and Cloud systems (OneDrive).
- Client Communication: Stay in contact with clients and the team through WhatsApp, text, and phone calls.
- Events: Represent the company at fashion, wedding expos, and other relevant events if needed.
- Sales: Market, promote, and sell products and services to new customers.
- Consulting: Determine clients’ body size, skin type, and style preferences.
- Administrative Tasks: Order stock and handle customer follow-ups via calls and mail.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Communication: Excellent English language skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work well with others.
- Independence: Work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Personality: Friendly and outgoing.
- Product Knowledge: Know about inventory to help clients find the right items.
- Fitting Techniques: Understand body types and fitting techniques.
- Client Interaction: Comfortable working closely with clients.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related studies.
- Experience: 1-2 years of proven sales experience, especially in beauty products, wedding dresses, and accessories. Experience as a Loan Sales Agent or Direct Sales Agent is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the fashion or bridal industry is an advantage.
- Social Media: Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Fashion Trends: Well-informed about bridal and fashion trends, and skilled in helping clients choose the right wedding dress and accessories.
