About the Position

The Golden State Warriors are hiring an Assistant to support our recruitment process. This role involves assisting with the full-cycle recruitment and pre-hire processes for various positions, including full-time, part-time, temporary, and high-volume roles. As an Assistant, you will help internal recruiters by screening resumes, contacting candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, generating offer letters, and ensuring data accuracy in our Applicant Tracking System. You will also play a key role in delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter who can prioritize tasks and be flexible. This role is crucial for maintaining a smooth hiring process and helping us recruit and retain a diverse, high-performing staff.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Recruitment: Assist with recruiting for various positions, from entry-level to senior management. This includes sourcing candidates, screening, interviewing, preparing, and extending job offers.
  • Coordinate Interviews: Manage complex interview schedules, including coordinating travel for interviewers and candidates.
  • Administer Verifications: Handle I-9 verifications, pre-employment background and reference checks, and lead onboarding processes to ensure compliance and a positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct Orientation: Organize and conduct new hire orientations for part-time and seasonal positions.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate employee records in our onboarding database and provide regular reporting to Payroll for new hires.
  • Leverage Technology: Use technology to streamline recruitment processes and maintain the Applicant Tracking System. Run reports as needed.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in HR or recruiting.
  • Recruitment Knowledge: Familiarity with the full recruitment lifecycle and understanding of equal employment opportunity laws.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Greenhouse), and background check services (preferably Sterling). Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Professionalism: Outstanding professionalism, confidentiality, and maturity in high-pressure situations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, service, resolution, and presentation skills.
  • Project Management: Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $26.00 – $27.00 per hour + Bonus
