Agricultural Equipment Operator with visa sponsorship

Job Description

Position: Full Time
Number of Workers Needed: 1

Job Duties:

• Drive and control equipment to apply agronomy products
• Maintain and repair application equipment
• Deliver agronomy and seed products to farms
• Handle and operate liquid and dry plant equipment, including loading/unloading fertilizer
• Monitor bulk tank inventories
• Drive tractors and trucks (up to 26,000 lbs) for fertilizer and equipment operations
• Move sprayers and drive trucks between locations
• Help load and unload grain products
• Assist with grain monitoring and maintaining quality
• Operate seed handling equipment, load seed tenders, and deliver seed
• Collect soil samples using an ATV, bag, and deliver soil samples
• Service farm machinery and equipment, including making in-field repairs
• Perform maintenance tasks such as fueling, changing filters, and inspecting equipment
• Pick up trash, clean equipment, mow grass, and handle general farm sanitation
• Lift and handle products weighing up to 50 lbs and up to 5 feet in height
• Follow safety rules and instructions, and be able to operate equipment safely
• Communicate in English

Work Details:

• Hours per Week: 54
• Schedule: 7:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
• Special Requirements:
  • 3 months of agricultural experience required
  • Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs
  • Clean driving record required
  • Must obtain a state driver’s license within 15 days of hire
  • Must pass drug tests conducted by the employer
  • Overtime pay is provided
