Ag Equipment Operator

Job Duties:

• Drive and operate farm machines to plant, grow, harvest, and store grain crops.
• Attach tools like plows, discs, and drills to tractors.
• Till soil, plant, and cultivate grain.
• Tow harvesting equipment.
• Drive and operate self-propelled combines.
• Perform general lubrication, check fluids, and make mechanical repairs to farm machinery.
• Transport produce, water, and supplies to fields, elevators, or storage.

No commercial or heavy truck driving requiring a CDL is needed. Adequate breaks will be provided according to local and federal regulations. Workers will need to get an Operator License Class D within 60 days. Working hours will vary with seasonal needs.

  • Must have at least 3 months of experience.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Will be exposed to extreme temperatures.
  • Wage rate may increase with proven experience.
  • Exceptional work may be rewarded with extra benefits.
  • Must get an Operator License Class D within 60 days.

Number of Hours Per Week: 48
Work Schedule: 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
